Three 6 Mafia Make History
For the first time ever, hip-hop was seen and heard on the Oscar stage tonight as Three 6 Mafia performed their acadamy award nominated song "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" from the film Hustle & Flow. The performance was alright, except for the interpretive dance going on in front of Three 6 Mafia as they performed. Right after the performance, the award for Best Original Song was announced and awarded to Three 6 Mafia. This being the second rap song ever to win this award (Eminem's "Lose Yourself" being the first).

My religious views are against Three 6 Mafia altogether, but I can still see the appreciation for hip-hop winning an award....Crash also won for best picture, that's what I was happy about
